Chiltington House

Chiltington House is a single storey, two-to-three bedroom new build set in the rural Sussex countryside. Like Kirkford House, it began as a flexible house design I'd developed and adapted specifically for this site: reworking the layout and orientation to suit a rural plot, with a covered outdoor veranda that extends the living space outward.

Timber frame construction and a pitched roof keep the massing simple and in keeping with its countryside setting, while full-height glazing onto the extended roof brings the outside in.
